Join our Herd!

If you love animals and nature, volunteering at Rescue Me Ranch may be a great fit for you!

Please complete a volunteer application and we will contact you once we have reviewed your submission.

If you are not comfortable with equines or don’t have much experience with large animals, that’s okay! If you want to learn, we can teach you.

Prefer to stick with what you know? There’s plenty of maintenance and project-based work to do. Let us know what you’re good at.

For volunteers working with the animals, we kindly ask for a commitment of at least one day a week. We work rain, shine, snow, sleet…you get the picture. No matter the weather, our animals deserve the best care possible.

What Our Volunteers Are Saying

  • Rescue Me Ranch has been, and continues to be a monumental stepping stone for me. Volunteering here has assisted my growth in self confidence, determination and grit. I have never worked with equine before, so Rescue Me Ranch gave me the time, patience and care to build my experience from the ground up. Great opportunities opened up for me and they could for you too.

  • Volunteering at RMR has been such a rewarding experience for me! I have always loved horses but I have not had extensive experience working with them. It brings me joy to go each weekend to help out. All of the people at RMR are warm, caring, patient and passionate about working with animals. There is such a positive atmosphere at the barn! I am grateful for this opportunity as this is enhancing my knowledge of how to care for horses and goats, as well as allow me to make friends and bond with the horses. Caring for animals, being outside and the physical activity of chores is a great way to start off my day!

  • I have had the privilege of volunteering alongside the team at RMR and have watched these animals flourish with personality and confidence within the safe haven this team has created for them. These animals are truly prioritized above all else and this team is always there to support them with every step of their journeys. It is amazing to watch and be a part of.
